Cancelations, No Shows & Reschedules

Cancelations

If the appointment is canceled by the prospective client (a.k.a. 'public employee) who signed up for the appointment, Legacy™ will replace the canceled appointment with a replacement appointment. However, If the appointment is canceled by the Legacy™ Client, charges still apply and the appointment will not be replaced.

No-Shows

When a prospective client requests an appointment with a Legacy™ Client (i.e financial professionals who paid a fee to be connected with public employees) the appointment along with contact information for the prospective client is placed on the Legacy™ Client's calendar. No charges apply if the prospective client is a "no-show". The Legacy™ Client is required to try to get the prospective client to reschedule. If after a "no-show", the Legacy™ Client has tried to reschedule to a reasonable degree, but concludes that the prospective client is unreachable, Legacy™ will replace the "no-show" appointment with a replacement appointment. If the Legacy™ Client (a.k.a. the payor of appointment fees or the financial agent) cancels or is a no-show, charges still apply and the appointment will not be replaced..

Rescheduled Appointments

When an appointment is rescheduled for any reason by the prospective client or the Legacy™ Client, charges still apply, no replacement appointments will be issued.

Refunds

All sales are final within the boundaries of the refund policy. Legacy™ does not guarantee that financial agents will close sales; no refunds will be issued if the Legacy™ client is unable to close sales or is generally dissatisfaction. Legacy™ does not guarantee that every campaign will be successful, but we will do our utmost to advise you on whether a campaign will likely succeed at the point of sale. Orders require a three-week warming period before a Legacy™ client should expect to see appointments on their calendar. Fulfillment times will vary depending on various factors beyond the control of Legacy™ or the operators. If an order is not fulfilled within 90 days of the order date, Legacy™ clients may request a refund of the amount paid for unfulfilled appointments via email. Refund requests may be sent to support@legacybdc.com. Refunds will be issued for the balance of appointments that were unable to be fulfilled ONLY. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the final fulfillment date indicated on the order confirmation/onboarding email. Requests submitted after 30 days from the confirmation/onboarding email date will not be fulfilled; no exceptions. Once a refund request is validated and approved, said refund will be issued within 7-10 business days of the confirmation.

"Fulfill" in the context of appointments means that the client has received the appointments they were promised or expected according to the agreement or order. It indicates the completion or realization of the commitment to provide appointments.

"Legacy™ client" is an individual or financial agent who has purchased appointments or services from Legacy™. In this context, a Legacy™ client refers to a customer or buyer who has engaged with Legacy™ by acquiring appointments or related offerings.

"Prospective client", in the defined context, is an individual actively seeking assistance with their pension, retirement planning, and savings. This person is typically a public employee or otherwise, and they have not yet engaged in any financial transactions for goods or services. Instead, the prospective client has voluntarily opted in or requested to meet with a licensed financial agent to explore and discuss their pension or retirement-related needs.

Definitions of Terms
